Ok, so first we added the ability for you to “Activate All Matching Creatives” on the Campaign list. So instead of having to edit the campaign and activate new ads zone by zone you could just hit this one link. Now we’ve taken it a step further. When you add new creatives to your Traffic Point you can now hit the handy-dandy “Match Creatives To All Active Campaigns” button:
Hit this link and all your creatvies (including the new ones you just added) will be activated on ALL your campaigns! Not too shabby, huh? Do be patient when hitting this if you’ve got several large campaigns!
Now be SURE you understand this ads ALL creatives to ALL campaigns (based on Publishers’ acceptable ratings, of course) Generally that’s what you want to do. The more ads you put in rotation, the better our automatic click-thru-ratio (CTR) optimization works. But, if you only want certain ads running on certain campaigns (perhaps if you’ve got geo-targeted / language specific ads) then you’d want to still use the “Activate All Matching Creatives” link for the specific campaign on the Campaigns tab!
Yes this is a small change but useful. We concentrating heavily on UI improvements for both Publishers and Advertisers so keep tuned to this blog as I’ve got tons more we’re rolling out over the next few days!
